FAQ

Do you require a deposit?

A 10% retainer will secure the date for your wedding. An email invoice will be issued enabling you to pay via card or bank transfer.

Are your payment plans interest free?

Yes! We arrange the duration of your agreement with you, you pay the 10% retainer, then just enjoy the remainder of your balance being spread into manageable payments - no cost to you, no credit checks and no stress!

Do you shoot destination weddings?

We are more than happy to accommodate your wedding wherever it is in the world. Contact us with the specifics we'll be happy to provide a quote!

Will there be a second shooter?

We come as a pair! All our packages (unless you've specifically asked for 1 photographer) come with 2 photographers. It ensure no moments are missed and allows us to offer our hybrid coverage.

Can I extend the session on the day of?

You've paid for coverage of your entire day: from getting ready and preparations in the morning to your cake cutting and first dance. Normally that marks the end of our time with you, but if we are needed for longer or the party keeps on getting better, we can stay for a nominal fee - we won't barter with you on the dance floor, we can just arrange with you upon final invoice.

What cameras do you use?

From early on in our photography and videography career, we shot Canon. Why change the habit of a lifetime! Our professional mirrorless cameras (of which there are 5 in case of any technical issues) are well equipped with a wide range of lenses to ensure not a moment is missed. Our cameras hold dual card slots, and both on-site and off-site backups of your images are safely preserved.

When is the remaining balance due?

If you've chosen to make your remaining balance payment as a lump sum, this is due 2 weeks before your wedding date.

Do you have insurance?

As a business, it is a legal requirement for Cooper&Co to have public liability cover which protects all of our weddings. All of our gear is additionally insured for safety.

Are there any additional travel expenses?

Unless stated in your contract and discussed in our meetings, there are no additional expenses.

How long will I be able to access my photos for?

You will have access to your gallery for a minimum of 12 months following your wedding date to give you time to download and share it with whoever you'd like. After this, your gallery is removed from our collections but we retain a copy for a further 2 years. We will pop you an email reminder a week before we are due to remove your gallery so you can check you've downloaded everything.

Do you use a drone?

We can provide drone coverage where appropriate. Please check with your venue for any no-fly zones and if they allow drones. If drone footage is something you would like, please be sure to mention this in your meeting so we know to provide this where possible.

How many images will I receive?

For a full day, you will receive approximately 500 professionally edited images. Depending on external factors, for example weather conditions or fewer group photos, this can impact the approximate number of photos you'll receive.

How long will my gallery take?

We aim to deliver your photo gallery within 8 weeks and your films within 12 weeks. This is dependent on our editing queue, though we do our best to get your gallery and films to you as quickly as we can. We offer sneak peeks where possible!

Do we need to provide a meal for you?

We always appreciate a supplier meal (these are smaller meals at a reduced price provided by your caterer) which we can eat during our break, as it ensures that we can remain on site throughout your wedding day. If you would prefer not to provide this, please be aware that we will go off site to source a hot meal which means we may be away from your venue for up to 90 minutes.
